Edith Cavell was a dedicated nurse, a woman of courage and firm faith, celebrated for saving the lives of soldiers from both sides during the First World War. When she helped 200 Allied soldiers escape from German-occupied Belgium - sheltering most of them in her house - she was arrested, charged with treason, and shot at dawn on 12 October 1915.
This message outlines her incredible story – and especially delves deeply to discover the source of her care for people was her evangelical faith in Jesus Christ.

Hus preached key Reformation themes (like hostility to indulgences) a century before Luther drew up his 95 Theses.
It is appropriate that the Hus story is told again on this the 500th Anniversary of his death for Christ's cause.
