First Night of Mission Cregagh

A splendid start to our 3-night campaign on the Cregagh Road, Belfast! Our venue is the Harding Memorial Primary School; this has been kindly granted for our use and is proving to be a brilliant facility.

Over 100 children came to the Kids Club, some brought along by their parents and many on the buses. Phil Hartin, our children's worker, emphasised the majesty of the Word of God in his own inimitable style.

The 8 o'clock Mission meeting was equally encouraging: visitors from the immediate district plus excellent support from the Martyrs people resulted in a superb attendance for the opening night. Bethany and Emma sang two beautiful Gospel pieces, Phil Hartin gave a short and spirited word of testimony, and I spoke from Ecclesiastes 2:17 on the subject, 'I'd Rather Have Jesus.'

Please keep in prayer for this short season of Mission - and be encouraged that your prayers are being answered already. Psalm 126:6. And, if you've missed the opening night, be sure not to miss Tuesday or Wednesday ... this mission will soon be over!
