Children & Youth Christmas Carol Service

On Sunday 11 December 2016 we welcomed the parents and family members of the children who attend the different outreaches into the church for a special carol service lead by the children and Workers. These areas of the work were the Monday and Tuesday Reach and Explore Bible Clubs, along with the Sandy Row and Martyrs Sunday Schools. At 3.30pm the Jubilee Hall was filled with children and family members from across Belfast city. Phil Hartin led the meeting, and the Monday Night explore meeting were up first in the programme with the children singing a few carols and then a few of the kids relating to the congregation the true meaning of Christmas with the aid of a few well known symbols of Christmas. Then the Sandy Row Sunday school and Taughmonagh Explore Bible Club kids were up next with a Bible reading, followed by some Christmas songs and finished with a poem from one young girl, with a second verse being written by her telling about the gift of salvation. Mr Edwin Curran brought a brilliant Christmas themed Children’s message titled “All we like sheep”, when throughout both kids and adults listen intently to what Edwin had to say. Some lovely snacks had also been prepared by a number of ladies from the congregation, which both young and old enjoyed! An encouraging, great afternoon was had by all, and thanks goes to the parents and guardians for sending their children faithfully throughout the year. Also huge thanks to all the bus workers, Sunday School teachers and meeting supervisors who are so faithful and dedicated every week, despite their own busy schedules.
