Who ever said that rendering backgrounds and producing props was a quick and easy business?!

A team of four spent four hours tonight in preparing some appropriate backdrops against which we can narrate the last couple of scenes in the life of Norfolk Nurse, Edith Cavell.

This Monday marks the 100th anniversary of her execution by a German firing squad.

The media has been moderately busy with this anniversary.

• One of the most interesting features appeared on the Antiques Road Trip, Thursday 8 October.

[ Available at this link; from memory the Cavell clip begins at approx. the 23-minute-mark:

• The latest articles I have read are from an East Anglian magazine I received in the post this morning – Let's Talk, Issue 157, October 2015 – (By the way, I purchased this at the cover price of £2.25, post free, which contrasts sharply with a deal for the same magazine available from one seller on ebay - £6.50).

Further updates will follow ...
