Announcement of Luther 500 Campaign

On Tuesday 8 March Rev. Ron Johnstone and myself travelled to Magherafelt FPC in order to record a short video to be shown during one of the slots in the Easter Convention 2016.

It reveals some preliminary details about an exciting project being planned to mark the 500th anniversary of the commencement of the Protestant Reformation - when, on 31 October 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany.

The video has been produced by Mr Robert Campbell (Londonderry) who is not only adept at operating all the technical stuff but, having studied Luther for a last number of years, is an expert on the subject.

Our project has two prongs - educational and evangelistic. Special rallies will be held and material produced for use in Youth Fellowships and Sundays Schools.
