Sunday School on the Sandy Row

Sunday the 4th September saw the recommencement of the Sandy Row Explore Sunday School. This is an outreach of Martyrs Memorial Free Presbyterian church.

Over the summer, we made preparation for the new term. This involved the organising of a third bus so as to allow us to reach into other areas. We are so grateful for the willingness of people in our church fellowship to get involved. We knocked doors and spoke to parents inviting their children to attend. There was a three day Kids Club at Blythefield Primary School in August which was also a means of establishing new contacts.

The LORD blessed these endeavours and we were greatly encouraged by the turn-out of children. On Sunday this reached record proportions – 43 children in all! We pray that boys and girls will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour and that they will be encouraged in their walk with God.
