Martyrs Youth Rally #1

Our faith was not merely rewarded, but superseded, with an excellent attendance at the first night of our relaunched After Church Youth Rally.

125 persons converged on the Jubilee Church, Martyrs, for the start time of 8:45. Some were able to be present at our Evening Service; others travelled a significant distance in order to be present.

The singing of the hymns (and a few choruses) was tremendous, assisted by a variety of instruments.

Given the fact that Dr. Bill Woods is soon to return for another stint in Brazil, it seemed very appropriate that we should introduce the man about whom books have been written, videos have been produced and whose story is told to a new generation of children by means of CEF flashcards. In his typically enthusiastic style, 'Dr Bill' answered questions that probed into his own life and would be instructive for others in living for Christ. Drawing from his immense experience as a missionary, our brother outlined his childhood years, recalled those who acted as major influences on his life, and shared precious counsel with the young people on topics such as prayer and seeking the will of God.
